Commitment to
Dignity

Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Commitment to
College Loyalty

From collegiate years on through alumnae involvement, the reason AOIIs continue service is the joy of spending time together and sharing the insights learned from the relationships we build and sustain.

Letter from the President

Welcome to the Alpha Mu Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi at Duquesne University!

"Inspire Ambition," the motto which all members of Alpha Omicron Pi live by, holds a special place in my heart and within the members of the Alpha Mu Chapter. Here at Duquesne, we are surrounded by a support system of talented women who are determined to grow through sisterhood and service. Together, we create a chapter that continues to thrive in membership and is recognized on the campus and international level.

Being a member of Alpha Omicron Pi was never in my college plan, but I could not imagine my college experience without it. My AOII membership pushes me to be a better person for my sisters and community. I am constantly inspired at what my sisters can accomplish, and I strive each day to be that role model for someone else. I can't explain how thrilled I am to see what our chapter will do in the years to come, knowing that it can only get better from here.

My sisters and I appreciate the time to view our website and hear about our sisterhood. We strive to make our Fraternity proud to claim us, and we are so excited to share that spirit with you. Keep an eye out for the women of Alpha Mu as we continue to grow in our values while upholding our title as Duquesne Student Organization of the Year 2017.

Alpha Love and Mine,

Brianna Dzuricsko
